What is Bio-MSM + Silica?

Bio-MSM + Silica is a combination nutritional supplement containing MSM (methyl sulphonyl methane) and silica. MSM is a naturally occurring organic sulphur containing substance, which is found in grain products, legumes, eggs and red meat. Vegetal silica, an extract of the herb horsetail grass, is a natural source of the essential trace mineral silicon. Sulphur and silicon are required by the body for the normal growth and development. The level of silica in the body declines with aging.
 

What does MSM + Silica do?

MSM and silica are required for the formation of bone, and collagen in connective tissue (cartilage, tendons, ligaments), and for healthy skin, hair and nails. MSM and silica help maintain the flexibility of joints and arteries.

How much MSM + Silica should you take?

The recommended intake for MSM plus silica is 2 tablets/day.

Are there adverse effects from taking MSM + Silica?

MSM plus silica is generally well tolerated, with no reports of significant adverse effects. MSM and silica are of low toxicity.
